Nicolicious on the men winter wardrobe: I love an understated chique look for the coming season. I decided to go to Jurc in Eindhoven for the upcoming it -look, a small boutique with lots of designer labels. The ever so charming owner does also the buying, and he sure knows what is hip and happening. A tight tailored Paul Smith jacket in dark blue rib-cord combined with a black waist coat of Dries van Noten and a pair of trousers of Paul Smith. It is sure worth the trip to the Kleine Berg, they also do a very good ladies collection.

Nicoliciously nice coffee: This perfect caffe latte was serves at the Bibendum restaurant after a superb crab salad, We are talking crab not surimi. The barista who made the latte should have an OBE. Bibendum, Brompton Cross London 02075815817.Oysterbar restaurant located in the Michelin building which alone is allready worth visiting.

Nicolicious on small garden: This charming petite garden which I came across has all the things we love at the Nicolicious HQ; there is dept, beautiful clipped topiary. And a nice combination of an old table combined with Starck chairs. How big or small the garden always try to focus on lines!

Quick effect: Put a handful of rose petals in a classic fish bowl. Instant colour, instant effect. I sometimes do this at dinner parties in small water glasses and put them next to the dinner plate!

Nicolicious on recipe’s: Cooking is not one of my strongest points however I do like pure and honest food . This classic Hangop is one of my favourites. My grandmother used to make it, you have to strain yoghurt for 8 hours through a cotton towel so its get really thick. Than sweeten it a little bit and layered it with strawberries . Calories…. no don’t think so.

Nicolicious on London shopping: I still have a few shopping tips I would love to share with you. One of my favourite neighbourhoods is Notting Hill with the Portobello road market { which is touristy, but nice} . Also the upcoming Westbourne Grove is the place to be. Daylesford Organic has a very nice branch there, an organic food market/ restaurant /gift shop lovely to have a lunch there. Around the corner is a Wolf and Badger concept store were they sell pieces of young designers or classic British companies. I find this area always very inspiring!

Tea: I am lingered on the tea of Laduree or the Marco Polo Mix from Mariage Freres. Recently I discovered the tea of Fleur de Cafe, lots of varieties and presented in sweet little tins. They also have an on-line store!
