Nicolicious on the men winter wardrobe: I love an understated chique look for the coming season. I decided to go to Jurc in Eindhoven for the upcoming it -look, a small boutique with lots of designer labels. The ever so charming owner does also the buying, and he sure knows what is hip and happening. A tight tailored Paul Smith jacket in dark blue rib-cord combined with a black waist coat of Dries van Noten and a pair of trousers of Paul Smith. It is sure worth the trip to the Kleine Berg, they also do a very good ladies collection.

Nicolicious on flowers, This enchanting bouquets of Dahlia,s and berries i hand picked from the garden of the Tijsen mansion. When you make a bouquet from a garden always use nice foliage to create a nice form, and turn the stems all in the same direction clockwise.

Nicolicious on domes, glass domes are the it-item to have in your interior.I just love them they are perfect to decorate and create a distinguished look in your home. This one i decorated with antique books and a little hint of the autumn season. The dome on the right has two spindles of antique wash ropes in it. More on dome decorating in the coming blogs!

Mix and match, it is always nice to mix and match different textures and fabrics such as silk, sateen and linen. The luxurious style of the pillows shown in this picture create an edgy contrast with the concrete pillar. Contrast are always nice other ways rooms can be very beige and dull!

Nicolicious on rugs. I find this very inspiring a huge carpet made of lots of different small rugs, this colour scheme creates instantly a bohemian summer atmosphere. Nicoliciously nice!

Nicolicious on W. The new loot on the W hotel chain, time to check this out. Located just of Leicester square. The building is modern and sleek, a very glitzy lobby located on the first floor which serves nice cocktails and wines. Well decorated in shades of grey with some interesting features. The friendly good looking staff took well care of me and although i was checking in at 9, there was instantly a room available. The rooms are not to big but have all the necessities one needs when travelling, nice amenities of Bliss in the bathroom. The bed is covered in nice Egyptian cotton and the mattresses are always excellent at W. Breakfast is in the lobby bar or in the Spice market restaurant on the ground floor, I would say the breakfast is medioka. There are no great views of London in the hotel because is has only 7 stories. Anyway a great experience but not as grand as the W in Hong Kong. W hotel, 10 Wardour street London.
