We found the perfect hotel for a weekend retreat. An hidden gem tucked away against the dunes. A charming 1.5 hour drive from Hamburg is the small town of Sankt Peter Ording. With the charming Zweite Heimat hotel, nice rooms, beautiful suites and a lovely restaurant. Try and book a room on the 3 rd floor for spectacular views over the sea.

We had a lovely dinner at Willems, an elegant restaurant in the chic Amsterdam south quarter. The foie gras was excellent and the atmosphere was delightfull. We strongly recommend this restaurant.
