We do love a statement, like these wall of small planters. The same effect can be obtained with small dinner plates hanging on a wall or a lovely wall full with picture frames. Less is more is not appropriate in this way of decorating.

We love a boost of color; but not every where. This is the perfect example a nice hallway with a classic wingchair upholstered in a vibrant orange combined with a distinguished blue. Works very well in a hall way could beto much in a living room.

Going for a weekend break in London. Do try the Dorset Square Hotel conveniently located in rural Marylebone. Rooms are charming and cosy. We where smitten by the fact that the hotel was completely decorated in a cricket theme due to the fact that the lords cricket ground was a throw away. www.firmdale.com
