Nicolicious

Musings of Nico Tijsen

Court Sejour Boutique: new in Amsterdam on the Van Baerle straat a very refreshing pop-up store. A nice selection of clothes and accessories men and women. We at the Nicolicious headquarters are a fan of the moss wall in the window. { Restaurant Van Harte is preparing a rigorous make over and will have a similar wall featuring the face of Kate Moss!}. Not sure how long this shop will be here so enjoy it while it last.

dress code: colurfull, always tricky. One doesn’t like to look clownish ant other hand you do want to respect the dress code. So for this event i chose a purple rib cord jacket with accents of orange. Team it down with a straight legged jeans for optimal effect.

Merci Paris, a very nice store on the Rue Beaumarchais an eclectic mix of different brand and styles. Very nice to visit although there original style is slipping away, still worth going. 111 Rue Beaumarchais Paris.

Nicolicious on theatrical flower arrangements, the use of long grasses add very easy a huge statement on a side table.

Nicolicious on snow-fence, this beautifully aged snow-fence has a nice patina. Years of sand and wind gives this wooden fencing its character. I find this very nice for a outdoor kitchen or bar. The weathered look goes very well with fresh white colours.
